Peter Pan, a show based on the classic story of an adventurous young boy who refuses to grow up, will continue it’s run through August 9th and begin again for the holiday season on November 1st. The story of Peter Pan, which first appeared in a 1902 novel by J. M. Barrie, has become a favorite of the young-at-heart the world over. Peter Pan is enjoyed by people of all ages and is not just for the kids. In fact, the original story written by Barrie was intended for an adult audience. Certainly, people of all ages will enjoy this spectacular production in Branson.

Peter Pan in Branson stars Cathy Rigby, a legendary performer who has been nominated for a Tony, starred on Broadway, was a commentator for ABC Sports for 18 years, and even represented the United States as a gymnast in the Olympics and the 1970 World Championships where she won a silver medal.

Rigby has been playing the role of Peter Pan since 1974 and played the role under the bright lights of Broadway throughout the 1990s. Rigby has also starred as Dorothy in the Wizard of Oz production, as well as performances in Annie Get Your Gun and Meet Me in St. Louis. In 2004, Rigby received a Distinguished Lifetime Service Award from The League of American Theaters and Producers.
